Are you into the Indie music?
The other day I found these wicked descriptions of ‘indie’ over at the [urbandictionary](http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=indie). You should read them for yourself but this one I particularly liked:
**The state of being ‘indie’:
1. Being unable to talk to anyone about your music.
2. But knowing that — in the process — you’re way cooler than the kids you try to talk to about it.**
A part from the fact of being cooler or not. Indie just rocks! If you are really interested Wikipedia has a slightly more detailed view on [indie folk](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indie_folk). Below a list of the indie groups I’m listening to over the last weeks. So should you? Well only if you want to be cool…

So basically you are saying: Indie is related to how the music is produced. Indie in that case stands for independent. You are right, one can be indie in any kind of music. That is why there is indie-folk, indie-rock. So: similar attitude, different style of music. If you want check out Pitchfork, a webzine about indie. Perhaps you’ll get a better feel of Indie. And in the end everybody likes hard-rock as well!
P.S. i inserted some Ruby code in my comment because i really dig the Ruby on Rails tip you gave, but it’s not showing..therefore maybe it’s executing and will render this website as “hazardous” to google. Just so you know, ciao!
The thing is…..whenever i hear someone answering the question: What music do you like?….. with.. Indie!
I don’t know if they mean indie-rock, indie-house, indie-pop, indie fuck or indie-suck………… indie just doesn’t interact with any controller or view. To me it’s just about the way a song/album/band is produced.
So should I crank up the guitar riffs, jam the disco balls, tame the flute or funk the beat??????? I will not know until “the question” is answered more detailed.
