FabLabs in Nederland

[This blogpost is in Dutch only]

Leuke korte documentaire over Fablabs in Nederland.

Documentary: Art & Copy

Haven’t seen this one yet, but I like the pitch. I presume Art & Copy is mostly about advertising and where marketeers get their constant inspiration from. There is a screening in Amsterdam later this week in the SMART Project space.

Documentary: Digital Nation

Interesting FRONTLINE documentary by PBS called Digital Nation with Douglas Rushkoff. It talks about all the usual suspects such as does Google make us dumb or should kids use technology on an early age. Positive and negative sides are highlighted in the documentary.

Documentary: Food Inc. – Hungry for Change

Although most people are probably aware of most things being said and shown in Food Inc. It is saddening to see how modern or civilized societies have been detached from nature and its pulse. Tomato’s all year round as well as fast-food being cheaper than grown food. Food Inc. shows us a modern food story from patented seeds by Monsanto to the production of enlarged chicken-breasts. Most examples shown in the movie are from the United States, but I think in Europe we have similar problems. Just think of the increase of diabetes. Look at the trailer below and watch this whole movie.

P.S. I own a copy of the movie and I’ll even borough it to you (if you live in the Netherlands that is). Just drop me a line at patrick@rekeeb.com
