Started working on a tiny Rails-app called Elenco (Italian for ‘list’). It is basically a reformulation of the classic ’company directory’:
- Firstname
- Lastname
- Etc.
Such a mundane task for people to find other people within your organisation/corporation, but most of the times the solution offered: just sucks! Hopefully this will solve the problem for me and my colleagues. I will scrutinize the ‘design’ with the Laws of Simplicity.
The screens are in Dutch but I guess you get the idea. And yes this probably exists… I mean it has too! I just couldn’t find it.

Although I generally believe generally browser innovation is good thing. It might make some enterprise/corporations uneasy with Chrome’s “power” to add and drop features per version.
